EPR Registration in Panji (Goa)
EPR- EPR is an extended producer responsibility, this is a responsibility of producer of Electronic & electrical equipment (In Goa) for channelization & recycling of the e-waste through an authorized Recycler. As per E-Waste Management Rule 2016, this was issued by Central Pollution Control in 2016
EPR (Extended producer responsibility) authorization registration is mandatory for producers belonging to electronic sector in Panji. The India Government has taken certain actions under EPR authorization registration to ensure proper collection, channelization, dismantling and disposing of electronic waste after end of life.
Responsibilities of Producers
Collection and Channelization – Producers are responsible for the collection as well as channelization of e-waste produced from “end of life” products of electronic and electrical equipment.
Creating Mechanism – Producers are accountable for a mechanism utilized for e-waste channelization from “end of life” products. These include wastes gathered from distributers and authorized service centers.
Seminars for Awareness Programs- Producers are required to arrange 2 Seminars for the awareness in public about E-waste management act and how consumer can dispose the electronic product after using.
Producers are required to submit their sales report to CPCB department on quarterly basis in a year.
Producers are responsible to get the electronic waste recycled based on electronic Recycling target assigned by CPCB on yearly basis.

• Recycler content on company’s letter head 30 No.
