Extended producer responsibility in Uttar Pradesh, is an exercise and a policy method in which electronic Producers take accountability for the company of the disposal of electrical & electronic products they produced once those products are designated as no longer useful by consumers.
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) comprises a combination of environmental, economic, and social factors. The EPR Certificate in Lucknow transferences the economic liability of the cost of disposal from the Government to the manufacturer of the product.
The EPR Registration in Lucknow and it’s, which the Government has given an extra responsibility to the electronic producer to channelize the E-waste generated into the markets. The Electronic Producers are liable to collect back electronics through buy-back schemes, collection programmers and collection centers. Proper channelization is essential so that E-Waste does not end up to wrong hands and harm the environment. An improper handling and hazardous dumping has degraded the environment and has impacted human health. Producers have to take the responsibility for proper channelization and have to get it recycled from an authorized recycler. General public should also be addressed for proper disposal of E-Waste in Uttar Pradesh.
