EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility)
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy approach under which producers are given a significant responsibility – financial and/or physical – for the treatment or disposal of post-consumer products. EPR registration done under CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) for channelization of E-Waste. EPR is applicable to all producers (importer and manufacturer) who import or manufacturer electronics goods for sailing purposes.
We, as Global Solution provide EPR Registration in Kolkata and at PAN India level.
Post Compliances of EPR:
We, as Global Waste Solution provide a complete solution for the EPR Post Compliances in Kolkata and at PAN India level, including the Dismantling & Recycling of the E-waste
• Central Pollution Control Board has given the responsibility to collect and recycle the E-waste to all Producers.
• Producers are free to engage a PRO (Producer’s Responsibility Organization) for fulfillment of his responsibilities. However, the PRO (Producer’s Responsibility Organization) engaged should be CPCB authorized.
• The producer need to submit the previous import/sales data (in case of old companies), according to which recycling targets will be allotted by CPCB.
• The producer also needs to submit the current sales data on quarterly basis of every financial year to CPCB.
• The producer needs to conduct two general public awareness programs annually to aware the general public regarding the hazardous effects of E-waste and methods to properly channelize and dispose of E-waste in an eco-friendly manner.
• The producer needs to give two advertisements annually on print media about E-waste and recycling.
• The producer needs to recycle to the allotted target of E-waste given by CPCB.
