EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) is mandatory for all
importers, traders, manufacturers and for those people who are going to import
the Electronic and Electrical Equipment (EEE) or their spare parts for the
selling purpose.
EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) is being issued by
the CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) department and they have made it
mandatory from this year April 2018 only. They have put the liability on the
all the authorised person who are importing Electronic and Electrical
Equipments (EEE) or their spare parts for further selling purpose.
CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) has made EPR
(Extended Producer Responsibility) mandatory because there was not proper
channelization of Electronic and Electrical Equipments (EEE) by the users or
importers. For the proper channelization and disposal of the products EPR
(Extended Producer Responsibility) has been initiated.
Every person who are importing Electronic and Electrical
Equipments (EEE) or their spare parts need to have EPR (Extended Producer
